Keep the trust — and build your AI kit
Spot fakes and scams, say when you used AI, and finish the course with a kit made for your own week.
Your AI kit: the prompts, helpers and rules that fit your own working week — and a short AI note for your school or family.
Lesson 12 of 12 · Part 4: Keep the trust
Keep the trust — and build your AI kit
The same tools that save you an evening let a scammer clone a voice, fake a photo or write a convincing message from “your bank”. Using AI well includes recognising when someone else is using it on you — and being honest about when you used it yourself. Then you put the whole course together into a kit for your own week.
The idea
Voice and video can be faked
A call that sounds like a relative asking for money urgently, a video of a famous person promoting an investment. Hang up and call back on the number you already have. Agree a family code word.
Pressure is the giveaway
Urgency, secrecy and a request for money, an OTP or a link click — together, they mark a scam whether a person or an AI wrote it. Report cyber fraud on 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.
Say when you used AI
“Drafted with AI, checked by me.” For schoolwork, follow your school’s rule. Honesty about AI keeps your own word worth something.
Step by step
- 1
Check a suspicious picture
Use Google Lens on an image you doubt to search for where it came from. In Gemini you can also ask whether an image carries Google’s SynthID watermark.
- 2
Agree a code word
With your family, a word that a caller must know before you send money or share a code.
- 3
Write your AI kit
One page: your three best prompts, your helpers (Gems), which tool you use for what, and three rules you will keep.
- 4
Write a short AI note
For your class, school or family: what AI is used for, what it is never used for, and how you say when you used it. Ask Gemini for a draft — then make it yours.
Prompts to copy
Change the parts in [brackets], and the details to fit your own day.
Anyone
I received this message: [paste]. List every sign that it might be a scam, and what I should do next. Do not click or open anything in it.
Teacher
Draft a one-page AI note for my Class 8 classroom: what we use AI for, what we never use it for (personal details, pretending AI work is our own, pictures of real people), and how students should say when they used it. Simple English, positive tone.
Anyone
Here is my working week: [describe]. Suggest where AI could save me the most time, which tool from this list fits each — Gemini, Gemini Notebook, a Gem, Canvas, Gemma offline — and one risk to watch in each case.
Try it
Your task
Write your one-page AI kit and your AI note, and share the note with the people it is for.
When you are done: You have finished the course with something you will open every week — and a rule book that keeps the trust.
Check yourself
Think of your answer first, then open it. Nothing is marked or saved.
A video call from a cousin’s number asks for ₹20,000 urgently and says not to tell anyone. What do you do?Show answer
End the call and ring your cousin back on the number you already have, or ask for the family code word. Urgency plus secrecy plus money is the pattern of a scam.
Is it wrong to use AI for your work?Show answer
No — it is wrong to hide it where honesty is expected, or to pass on what you did not check. Use it, check it, say so.
Keep the trust
Use it, check it, say so.
That is the whole course in five words — and the trust AmanahVale is named for.
